There are RAT ‘Packs’ all around New Zealand. Some are organised by the local dealer, some are run by dedicated volunteers. Whichever; they are there for the benefit of RAT members.
They vary to some extent in the way they do things; largely according to the whim of whoever is putting in the effort to make things happen.
The level of activity will vary, too. Some packs may organise just a few rides a year, while others may have rides and social events every month.
One thing that is common to all RAT Packs is the people. Or rather, the variety of people. There is no such thing as a ‘Triumph type of rider’. You just need to look at the range of bikes that have come out of Hinckley in the last twenty years to see that they’re bound to attract all sorts of riders. And they do. Which means that there are all sorts of people in the Rat Club. The only thing they all have in common is their Triumph. So if you think you won’t find someone like you to relate to in the Rat Club; think again!
